Objective:

Developing content aimed at the target audience to increase awareness of extended reality and art, while fostering a space for networking with like-minded individuals.

Introduction:

XR Art is an emerging field that requires more discussion about its possibilities. People from various disciplines frequently lack a platform to exchange knowledge and connect with others in the XR Art community.

Key Contributions:

  • Research: Conduct pre-production research to gather insights on industry trends, audience demographics, and competitor analysis, ensuring informed decision-making for developing XR and art content.

  • Business Canvas: Develop a business canvas outlining key activities, value propositions, partnerships, and revenue streams to guide the creation and monetization of XR and art content.

  • Persona: Create detailed user personas representing XR artists and XR art enthusiasts to tailor content and community features that address their needs and goals.

  • Content Creation: Plan and script blogs and videos to effectively demonstrate how extended reality shapes the future of art.

  • Community Building: Develop strategies for organizing in-person meetups to facilitate collaboration and networking among artists and XR enthusiasts.

  • Diverse Content Formats: Outline and storyboard a range of content formats, including video interviews, and articles to appeal to the ideal audience.

  • Social Media Campaigns: Draft a social media strategy that includes visually engaging content, live streams, and hashtag campaigns to increase visibility and foster community engagement.

Challenges & Solutions:

  • Key challenges include gathering reliable data on XR and art trends, defining sustainable revenue models, and representing the diverse needs of XR artists and enthusiasts.

  • Solutions involve utilizing multiple research sources, experimenting with monetization strategies, and conducting persona research to align content with audience interests.

  • Another challenge is balancing educational value with engaging content, which can be addressed by combining case studies, interactive demos, and simplifying complex XR concepts.

  • Hosting both in-person and virtual events will foster collaboration while offering a mix of formats (videos, articles, podcasts) to ensure broader audience appeal.

  • Social media consistency can be maintained through a well-structured content calendar and interactive campaigns, with ongoing optimization using analytics.

Iteration & Feedback:

I participated in sessions to gather feedback from fellow members and leaders to enhance the business canvas and the content created. As a member of Transmedia Zone, I engaged in both one-on-one and group discussions.

I have developed various iterations of the business canvas, addressing the feedback received and adjusting names and logos to align with the project's goals.

Additionally, these one-on-one sessions provide me with insights into the audience and an external perspective, as I am currently the sole person working on this project.
